Where most sustainable straw brands tend to go for the natural look, Raws stands out for all the right reasons. It’s a middle finger to plastic whilst refusing to kowtow to the norm. Bold in its use of colour, typography and tone of voice, we created a brand that carries a serious message whilst not being preachy or insular. After deciding on Raws for the name, the logo was designed to be a nod to the product’s material which is then complemented with the fresh and vibrant visual identity that was rolled out across messaging, packaging, social & digital touchpoints. The brand’s strength is its messaging and the simple use of the straw device that allowed us to create a ‘they say / we say’ statement that was designed to show how close we are to sustainable solutions.
